Mark Pi, the US-based global restaurant chain, has decided to invest Rs. 80 crores for opening 300 eateries all over India in the next five years. These will cover not only metros and mini-metros but also towns with a population of at least one lakh.

Mar Pi International has plans to open another 400 outlets in the Asia-Pacific region during the coming five years. In India, its products will have the brand name “Crazy Noodles,” to be sourced from Japan, China, Malaysia and other countries in the east.

Meanwhile, in Ahmedabad, Rajkot and Surat, where the chain has established one restaurant each and wishes to add more, vegetarian fare will be on offer in keeping with the popular taste.
